WordPress should be as easy as asking.
WordPress runs a huge share of the web, but running a site still means hours in wp-admin: updating plugins, fixing SEO, formatting posts. WPMate lets you hand that work to the AI assistant you already use.
What we believe
- Use the AI you already have. WPMate works inside Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients, so you don't need another chat app or another AI subscription.
- AI should ask first. Public and hard-to-undo changes wait for a person to approve them, and most changes can be rolled back.
- Say what's real. We mark features that aren't built yet as “coming soon” and publish exactly what each tool does in our docs.
- Your site stays yours. No lock-in: disconnect any time, and the Mate Connector plugin is open source.
Where we're going
Today WPMate connects existing self-hosted WordPress sites to AI. Next we're adding scheduled audits and tools for agencies. After that, WPMate Sites: hosted WordPress sites you create and grow from a conversation, so people with no technical background can launch a site without buying hosting or hiring a developer.
